The main diving season at Komodo and Bali is May to November, but there are liveaboards almost year round. Some boats will change their port and itineraries to get the best dive conditions, so trips may depart from Bali or from Flores. Some liveaboards head further into the amazing islands of Indonesia - we can offer trips around Alor, and Raja Ampat, and area which has the highest marine biodiversity anywhere on earth. Liveaboard diving in Indonesia is more popular than ever before - early booking is highly recommended. Komodo has a fair choice of liveaboards to suit different budgets, while most trips to Raja Ampat are longer trips on very nice boats. The diving is more suited to advanced divers - there are some interesting currents around Komodo, and deep waters, and also the water temperature is variable.
